Job Purpose/Mission/Summary:

Maintains and upgrades business processes and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) IT functionality.  This includes serving in the following two key support capacities:  (1) Second-level global ERP production support for Procure-To-Pay (PTP-Direct) Process, and (2) Supporting Global Process Owners in continuous improvement to ERP.

Key Roles & Responsibilities / Key Job Functions:

Production Support

  1. Super user Support
  • Provides training to ERP first-level support (super-users)
  • Provides second-level production support to ERP users and business process owners
  • Receives, investigates and resolves escalations from super-users
  • Provides experienced and detailed functional knowledge of SAP
  1. Bug / Configuration Fixes
  2. Configures and makes changes in system
  3. Helps identify and resolve integration issues
  4. Acts as primary support for configuration management for incidents
  5. Works with appropriate business users and IT technical resources to ensure efficient and effective resolution of errors
  6. Controls SAP organizational structures and key data elements
  7. Works with appropriate business users and IT technical resources to support and ensure efficient and effective batch job processing
  8. Maintains BPP (Business Policies and Procedures)
  9. Maintains and updates ERP process and training documentations
  10. System Control and Monitoring to ensure uninterrupted business operations
  11. Repository of expert knowledge in system/process
  12. Develops reports for operational and performance analysis

Support and Development of ERP Applications

Obtains understanding of SAP functionalities and available functionalities of SAP bolt-on applications, whether currently owned or included within Lexmark ERP landscape, to support business requirements and continuous improvement initiatives

  1. Minor Change Requests
  • Provides system design and implementation methodology expertise
  • Reviews proposed design solutions to identify impacts
  • Reviews and assess SAP future release functionality
  1. Projects, upgrades and SAP quarterly releases
  2. Provides support for SAP releases and upgrades, which includes understanding changes and managing related testing requirement before implementation into production environments
  3. Supports implementation
  4. Testing
  5. Super-user program management
  6. User training
  7. Business Roll-outs

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Support and Development of ERP Applications

  • Knowledge in SAP (ECC), specifically Procurement process
  • Knowledge and proficiency in key tools/systems (such as SAP Solution Manager, Rally, Quality Center, ServiceNow) required to support ERP landscape

Production Support

  • Appropriate level of supply chain and finance business knowledge to effectively understand and support processes
  • Able to communicate technical information to non-technical audience
  • Good analytical (root cause analysis) and problem solving skills

Education & Basic Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Experience: Finance or Supply Chain, within or outside of Lexmark

Personal Credibility & Qualifications:

  • Must be a college graduate, preferably IT, Business Administration or related areas
  • Experience in SAP PTP
  • Should have at least 3 years experience in a systems support role
  • Able to communicate technical information to non-technical audience
  • Intermediate analytical (root cause analysis) and problem solving skills
  • Able to work in a cross-functional team with diverse background
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize items in order to complete tasks efficiently and within expected timelines
  • Good project management skills
  • Effective training and work session facilitation capabilities
  • Effective English language skills, verbal and written communications
